Boredom leads to Badness!
Fix boredom easily with these great toys.
At a certain point in your dog’s life, he’s content to be a couch potato; but younger, energetic dogs will become destructive if they’re bored! Bored dogs can be problem dogs. Fix boredom easily with some of these great toys our dogs are crazy about!
HIGH ENERGY Dogs
If you have a HIGH ENERGY dog like our crazy Zeus, you need to have toys that are truly indestructible. Zeus’s favourite are Goughnuts! He has had his for at least two years, and he never leaves it alone! We call it his “emotional support Goughnut” because he’s so crazy about it. He will try to take it out with him, and as soon as he comes back in, he immediately grabs it. It’s a great toy for the kennel because when the other dogs are going crazy barking and bouncing, he just lies down and chews his Goughnut.

Busy Puppies!
We currently have a couple of older puppies from our last litter. To keep them from being destructive in their kennel runs I bought them each a Jolly Egg! They are crazy about them!! They will play with them in their runs, barking, batting, and trying to bite them. Large breed adults CAN get their teeth into them if they corner them, but smaller mouths can not destroy them!
This toy is money well spent!
Indoor Play
Phyre is the current “house hound” (they take turns) and at just 2 years-old she is a BUSY girl. We try to keep softer, less damaging toys in the house to avoid broken stuff. Sometimes we DO try to have nice things! Phyre is not fussy, she loves pretty much any type of toy, but she is absolutely crazy for the Chuckit Ultra Tumbler toy! With two different size heads this versatile toy can be used with different sized ball launchers! In the house, its odd shape makes it bounce in crazy directions to keep your dog on her toes! They are fairly sturdy for moderate chewers, but will not stand up to a destructo-dog.
Indoor/Outdoor Soccer!
Another favourite toy that is played with both indoors and out, is the Chuckit Kick Fetch Ball! This ball is soft enough to be safe indoors, on a deck, or out on the lawn. Its varied sized grip areas accommodate dogs and puppies of all sizes, and its light weight makes it an easy favourite for smaller dogs. 4 month old Que had a recent romp with it to tire her out for a long plane trip to her new home. This toy is best used for tossing and kicking, it is NOT a chew toy.
Quality toys to help your dog be a good dog!
If you visit our home and kennel, you will absolutely see these toys scattered throughout. We spend a lot of money on our dogs, and we insist on the best bang for our buck! Think of toys as an inexpensive way to protect your furniture, shoes, wall trim and anything else a bored dog could destroy. Boredom leads to Badness and there’s simply no need of that!
